Adoption is beautiful. It is also expensive.
Families often feel the call to adopt long before they feel financially ready. There are home studies, agency fees, legal costs, and travel expenses that come long before a child ever comes home.
This fundraiser gives a family’s community a simple, tangible way to rally around them, just like ours once did.

In 2014, our own family was carried through adoption by the love and generosity of our community. Without them, we could not have brought our daughter home.
This fundraiser exists because we believe no family should walk this road alone.
When you place a bouquet on your table or hand it to a mother you love, you are part of a much bigger story.
No longer an orphan.
Completely loved.
Home at last.
Quantities are limited and available by preorder only.

In 2014, God placed a very unexpected call on our hearts. We already had three little ones under five. Life was full and noisy and beautiful, and adoption wasn’t something we had seriously planned. But that’s exactly how we knew this wasn’t our idea. It was His.
We filled out the international adoption paperwork with shaky hands and hopeful hearts. We had just enough money to start, but nowhere near enough to finish. Still, we kept moving forward.
Our community rallied around us in ways we could have never dreamed.
We held garage sales and bake sales.
Julie photographed families in every spare moment.
Grant built wooden signs in the evenings.
We made jewelry on the garage floor with hammers and pennies.
And little by little, dollar by dollar, people helped us close the gap.
Somehow, by God’s provision and the generosity of others, we had everything we needed.
We were matched with a bright-eyed three-year-old girl in China. After a year of paperwork, prayer, and preparation, we boarded a plane to bring her home. In June 2015, Caroline Joy became ours forever. Today she is fourteen, running cross country and track, winning Student of the Month, making us laugh daily, and reminding us constantly that God writes the best stories.
Because our family was carried by the love and support of so many, we created the Evergreen Wreath Fundraiser to give that same gift to other families.
